The California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development has created a “California Business Comeback Guide”, which provides useful information on a wide-range of funding sources for businesses and economic development.

A portal to explore federal and state funding opportunities for community and place-based strategic initiatives. This includes information on Opportunity Zones, census tracts added to the federal tax code that meet “low-income community” criteria.

Provides information on small business technical assistance centers throughout the state and financial incentives targeted at small businesses.

Connect to Build: Frontline Organization and Federal Infrastructure Funding Opportunities


This report explores how certain organizations are using government funds to address the needs of frontline communities and communities of color. It discusses successful approaches and recommendations for leveraging these opportunities, as well as challenges faced by these organizations.
